Water Fellowship Program Announces Largest Class, Adds New Partners

The largest class in the five-year history of the Water Advanced Research and Innovation Fellowship will begin their research in the coming months. WARI began as a joint initiative between the University of Nebraska and several of India’s top academic institutions to help build capacity to address global water quality challenges. The program will expand this year to include new partner institutions, including Texas Tech University, Purdue University and the University of Idaho.

Omaha Film Festival to spotlight film talent around the world

One of the largest film events in the Midwest, the 15th Annual Omaha Film Festival took place from March 3-8. The festival featured over 100 films, which judges selected from 1000, submissions from around the world. The festival has featured award-winning films that received a national theatrical release in the past through special screenings.
